Refund policy

All orders are processed immediately to ensure timely delivery.

30-Day Return Policy

Every customer has the right to return their item to our return address within 30 days.

Please note: due to the nature of our products and in order to guarantee hygiene, underwear and swimwear (in accordance with Article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code) cannot be returned if the packaging seal has been broken.

Our menstrual underwear is a personal hygiene product that comes into direct contact with the body. We understand that it is essential for our customers to know that the underwear is new, unused, and hygienic. That is why all of our underwear is carefully sealed and packaged.

Eco-Friendly Exchange

With your first order, you may exchange the underwear once for a different size, even if the seal has been opened.

This exchange option applies only to items from the first purchase and does not entitle you to a refund. Through our eco-friendly fit guarantee, you can exchange your item with respect for the planet.

Using the eco-friendly fit guarantee is possible upon payment of the cost of the new CO₂-neutral shipping for the replacement size(s).


What must the customer do to receive a refund?

To return your item, you must first notify us of your decision by sending an email to iris@maysaperiodwear.nl. After this, we may ask you to send the item at your own expense to our return center:

Important: Do not return items without contacting us first. We will provide you with return instructions. Purchases returned without prior contact may be refused, as they cannot be properly processed at our return center.

Important: If your package cannot be delivered, it will be taken to a pickup point. If it is not collected, we will unfortunately have to charge the return costs. Once the package is returned to us, your order will be canceled. This also applies if you refuse the package at the door.


Who bears the costs?

The buyer is responsible for the cost of returning the goods.


What happens if I receive a clearly defective item?

If you receive a defective item, we will send you a replacement product free of charge.


When can the customer expect a refund?

A refund will be issued within 1 day after the returned shipment has arrived, using the originally selected payment method.

Please note that once an order has been placed, it cannot be modified or canceled before delivery.

I placed multiple orders. Can I return them in one package?

If you placed multiple orders that were delivered in separate packages, they unfortunately cannot be returned in one package. Our warehouse processes many orders daily, and to ensure proper handling of returns, they must be returned separately.


Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (excluding any additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days after we have received notification of your withdrawal from this contract.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back. The deadline is met if you return the goods before the 30-day period has expired.

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods. You are only liable for any reduction in value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
